ELASTOSIL® A07 90ml

ELASTOSIL® A07 is a one-component, liquid RTV-1 silicone dispersion cured by atmospheric moisture, designed for creating flexible protective coatings and thin-film seals. The material is a low-viscosity, freely flowing liquid, allowing very uniform coverage even on surfaces with complex geometries. Curing takes place at room or elevated temperature, resulting in a flexible, transparent silicone layer with high durability.

The product is ready to use and requires no mixing. During crosslinking it releases organic amines and contains no organotin catalysts, making it suitable for use in modern industrial processes. Thanks to its very good adhesion to many substrates, ELASTOSIL® A07 can be applied without a primer, simplifying the application process and reducing processing time.

Properties:
ELASTOSIL® A07 is characterized by low viscosity and excellent flow behavior, enabling the formation of thin, uniform protective coatings. The material retains its flexibility over a wide temperature range, from approximately –40 °C to +180 °C, making it suitable for both low-temperature conditions and long-term thermal exposure.

After curing, the silicone forms a coating with a low modulus of elasticity, good mechanical resistance, and high elongation at break, allowing it to compensate for stresses and substrate movement. The silicone layer is resistant to aging, moisture, and typical environmental factors, maintaining stable properties over time.

Thanks to its solvent-based formulation (approx. 25% solvent content), the product is well suited for application methods such as dipping, spraying, brushing, or coating. The coating thickness can be precisely controlled by dilution or by applying multiple layers.
