ELASTOSIL® A33 310ml

ELASTOSIL® A33 is a one-component RTV-1 silicone cured by atmospheric moisture, intended for professional bonding and sealing applications in industrial environments. The material crosslinks at room temperature, forming a durable, flexible joint with very good thermal and chemical stability. Thanks to its non-slump consistency, the silicone does not sag, allowing for precise application on vertical surfaces and in areas where accurate control of joint geometry is required.

The product features very good adhesion to many substrates without the use of a primer, which simplifies the technological process and shortens assembly time. ELASTOSIL® A33 has been designed for applications exposed to high temperatures and contact with oils, maintaining flexibility and sealing performance even under demanding operating conditions.

Properties:
ELASTOSIL® A33 is a ready-to-use material that requires no mixing or additional activators. It cures under the influence of atmospheric moisture and releases small amounts of amines during crosslinking; therefore, application in well-ventilated areas is recommended.

After curing, the silicone forms a flexible elastomer of medium hardness, high mechanical strength, and very good elongation at break, enabling effective compensation of vibrations, thermal expansion, and assembly-related stresses. The material retains its properties over a wide range of operating temperatures—from low sub-zero temperatures to long-term exposure to elevated temperatures, with the possibility of short-term exposure to even higher values.

An additional advantage is its resistance to oils and technical media, which significantly broadens the range of applications in the machinery, automotive, and equipment manufacturing industries.

Thanks to its good adhesion to many substrates, ELASTOSIL® A33 can often be used without priming; however, preliminary testing is recommended for critical applications.
