ELASTOSIL® N2010 310ml

Elastosil N2010 is a one-component RTV-1 silicone designed for potting, coating, and protecting electronic and technical components, developed for applications requiring high precision, reliability, and long-term stability of properties. The material cures at room temperature under the influence of atmospheric moisture, forming a transparent, permanently elastic protective coating that effectively shields components from environmental factors.

Thanks to its excellent flowability and self-leveling consistency, the silicone penetrates gaps between components, evenly covers surfaces, and enables precise potting of even complex electronic assemblies. These characteristics make the material particularly valued in applications where complete encapsulation of components without air voids is critical.

After curing, the coating retains high flexibility over a wide temperature range, allowing it to effectively compensate for differences in thermal expansion between various materials. The silicone exhibits very good resistance to moisture, aging, UV radiation, and typical operating conditions, ensuring long-term protection of electronics used in both industrial and outdoor environments.

The material features good dielectric properties, making it suitable for use in electronics, electrical engineering, and automation. Good adhesion to metals, glass, and selected plastics—often without the need for a primer—facilitates integration into existing production processes and shortens application preparation time.
