Description
ELASTOSIL® RT 607 A/B is a high-performance, two-component RTV-2 silicone designed for professional applications in electronics, energy, and industrial sectors where exceptional thermal resistance, stability, and fire safety are required. Thanks to its low viscosity, the mixture perfectly fills complex geometries, providing precise encapsulation and potting of electronic components without air bubbles or the risk of voids.
Once cured, the silicone forms a hard, robust elastomer (Shore A 55) with excellent thermal, mechanical, and environmental resistance. The material maintains stable properties even under prolonged high-temperature operation and exhibits resistance to aging, moisture, and mechanical stress, making it ideal for systems exposed to vibrations, temperature fluctuations, and intensive use.
One of the key features of RT 607 A/B is its self-extinguishing property and full compliance with the demanding railway standard EN 45545-2 HL1/HL2/HL3, allowing its use in safety-critical applications — including the production of railway equipment, industrial automation, and energy systems.
