ELASTOSIL® RT 628 A/B is a high-performance, two-component, addition-curing RTV-2 silicone designed for potting, encapsulation, and technical castings. Thanks to its very good flowability, low viscosity, and self-leveling properties, it ensures trouble-free filling of complex geometries, providing a homogeneous, bubble-free structure.
After curing, it forms an elastomer with a medium Shore A hardness of 54, high tear resistance, and long-term stability under harsh environmental conditions. The material withstands continuous operation from –50 °C to +180 °C and, due to its resistance to UV radiation, moisture, and changing weather conditions, is well suited for industrial applications.
