ELASTOSIL® E43 Transparent is a one-component, self-leveling RTV-1 silicone that cures with moisture. It provides excellent adhesion to cured silicones, glass, metal, ceramics, technical rubbers, and many plastics. Once cured, it forms a flexible, transparent, and durable joint that is resistant to water, UV, detergents, aging, and temperatures from –45°C to +180°C.

Ideal for bonding and sealing components in electronics, automation, automotive, household appliances, the LED industry, and industrial equipment manufacturing. Recommended for the assembly and repair of silicone gaskets, housings, technical components, and applications requiring a durable and aesthetically pleasing bond. Ready to use, requires no primers, with a skin-over time of approximately 10 minutes.

Description

ELASTOSIL E43 stands out for its high flexibility, durability, and long-term stability. Once cured, it forms a transparent, non-shrinking joint resistant to vibrations, moisture, detergents, oils, UV, and aging. Its self-leveling consistency allows it to fill gaps precisely, providing a tight and aesthetically pleasing bond.

Key properties: RTV-1 silicone, excellent adhesion to cured silicones and a wide range of substrates, temperature resistance from –45°C to +180°C, high flexibility after curing, and resistance to environmental factors.
